Voronov is invited to participate in the review panel process (March,2-3 in Washington, DC) of the proposals submitted to National Science Foundation. The panel covers proposals related to the field of Protein Engineering, Biocatalysis, Enzyme Engineering submitted to the Biotechnology and Biochemical Engineering program in Division of Chemical, Bioengineering, Environmental and Transport Systems (CBET) at NSF.
The Biotechnology and Biochemical Engineering (BBE) program supports fundamental engineering research that advances the understanding of cellular and biomolecular processes in engineering biology and eventually leads to the development of enabling technology for advanced manufacturing and/or applications in support of the biopharmaceutical, biotechnology, and bioenergy industries, or with applications in health or the environment. Seven proposals were assigned for Voronov’s review during the March panel.
